I was given Stick a Geranium in Your Hat in June 2005. I have waited two years to say Thank you for this book. It helped me in one of the worst times of my life. November of 2004 my youngest son was called to go to Iraq. A month later as we were sending my daughter to Michigan to Law School away from everything she had known. On the same day my oldest son was told the Hodgkins Lymphoma he was diagnosed with in 2002 had returned and he a 50/50 chance. It has been a journey no parent should have to go on. But because of Barbara's book and a loving family we are a whole family again. My Marine is safe, my daughter is back home, and my oldest has been cancer free for a year.

I know Barbara is laughing and having the best time with our Lord. I rejoice for her.

I always enjoyed her books! I learned about her from a friend who got to see her. I went straight out to get the books! The news letter I loved. The time I sent her a check it was stolen in the mail. My postman told me they did that all the time. You could not send cash in a plain envelope for sure. There was never a Christian Lady as great as Barbara. The family has come together and I admired them for this. THANKS TO YOU MY LOVE AND All I CAN GIVE AT THIS TIME. I will make sure I get some money there!!!

Barbara will be missed by so many people. I just learned yesterday she had died. I am going to the Women of Faith in April and saw her anme wasn't on the list of speakers and looked on the internet to see what I could find out about her and found she had died. I am saddened but rejoicing to because she knew about life and she knew about Heaven and couldn't wait to get there to reunite with her family. She taught me a lot through her books. We have lost a Jewel. Miss you Barb, Trecia Ashley
