I am so happy to find this website as I have always wanted to let you know how your books inspired and your humor allowed me to cope with my cesspool of becoming a quadriplegic in 1993. I had read all your books you had at that time and they prepared my attitude for what I was about to deal with. Joni Earickson too. Interesting how I had been led to read both your writings prior to my spinal cord injury.

I can't put into words what you mean to me, I love you and pray for you and know from experience that God allows you to "feel" prayers in your behalf.

You have touched more people than you will ever know. When I go Home I'll be looking for the owner of the geranium mansion!

Thank you for all your wonderful books over the years. I have all of them, except your latest one. A friend gave me my first one when my son went to prison the first time. It helped me get through some very bad times. Now I read them to lift me up, while my 21 year granddaughter fights bone cancer. Can't wait to read Humor Me and Joyfully, Barb.
