No matter what my troubles are when I read your books, I feel safe and loved by our God. I am a mother of 3 (17, 15, 09), and I have had my hands full with both older ones. But, your books and God have seen me through it.

The very first book I ever read of Barbara's literally fell into my hands from a library shelf that was supposed to be books on 'self help'. It was entitled Fresh Elastic for Stretched Out Moms and I read it cover to cover in one day. It was so what I needed to hear that I have since read every book she ever wrote. Her words helped to revive the stretched out elastic of my life. They encouraged me and uplifted me, so much so, that I have given her books to countless people searching for answers as I had been.

Thank you Barbara. I did not see this book listed as a favorite to vote, but it should be! God winked down at me and dropped it into my hands. I haven't been the same stretched out mom since!
